Ritesh Ajmeri was born in India, living and working in India and South Korea. He graduated from M.S University, Baroda, India, majoring in sculpture for BFA in 2003 and MFA in 2005. He has been working based on sculpture, rust drawing, and performance video in meditative way of body, joining in residency program in Open space Bae , Busan Korea in 2010, Asia pacific fellowship Artist- in- Residence, Goyang artist studio National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea between 2009 to 2010, INLAKS Foundation Scholarship in India (2008), and workshops of “Vaghd Project”, sponsored by Jan Kala Shahitya Munch, conceived by Chinten Upadhya (2004).
